Having enjoyed a great coffee at the 117 Cafe in Warren we packed up the Winnebago and said our goodbyes to Warren. Continuing on the Oxley Highway for Gilgandra some 85 kms away.
Gilgandra, New South Wales, Australia
Arriving in Gilgandra we make our way to a dedicated motorhome and caravan parking area directly behind Main Street. Itโs time for another coffee so we head off to do some exploring.
We grab a coffee and a couple of delights from a little bakery, before continuing on our walk.
Having enjoyed our walk around Gilgandra, we fill the Winnebago with fuel before turning onto the Castlereagh Highway again. Now heading east for Dunedoo.
Dunedoo, New South Wales, Australia
So we arrive safely in Dunedoo, find the caravan park which would be hard too miss. The office is closed so we help ourselves to a spot. After setting up we go for a walk up town. It must be a regular tourist stop as there are a couple of bakeries and coffee shops as well as a ladies fashion shop that has Pamโs attention.
After a walk around town itโs time for a rest. We relax watching people come in to the caravan park with large 4WDs and huge caravans trying to manoeuvre around trees and other vans, going back and forth, back and forth.
Before you know it, itโs time to walk up the pub for dinner. The open log fire and covid entry procedures making us feel both welcome and safe. We enjoy a couple of drinks with dinner. The food was excellent.
After a quiet nightโs sleep, we walk up for a coffee, have some toast before getting the camper ready for the road once again…
