As we cruise south, each day is a little warmer than the one proceeding. The seas remain mostly calm. ย On leaving the Inner Passage we sail with Prince of Wales Island and Victoria Island on our port side. The jagged mountains and barren coastline in view most of the day. In the evening we enjoyed our 2nd formal night, the lobster and oysters a highlight. ย The next morning we awoke to the ship continuing south in a thick sea fog. With visibility of less than 100 meters and the fog horn sounding regularly. Ship board life continues and we enjoy our early cappuccinos, then head to the gym as part of the chocolate desert reduction program.
The fog continued all day only breaking as we docked in Victoria, Canada at 5 pm. Our group of 6 jumped a stretch limo and toured Victoria, it beautiful parks and bays until dark. Our driver dropped us at Swan’s Brew House, for dinner, some great music and as it would turn out a bit of a beer festival. ย The next morning we rise to find ourselves docked in Seattle again and feeling a bit dusty, must have been the fog ! Off early we dropped our washing at a laundry and set off for the viewing point above the Columbia Centre, following by some retail therapy.
In the late afternoon we embark again, the Infinity laden with mostly new passengers, continuing our adventures south once again.
