Our last day in Turin and I have suggested we visit the Museo Nazionale dellโAutomobile. Pam to my surprise, is not keen to spend the morning looking at old cars. Whilst I could argue about how much time Iโve spent standing in a shoe shop nodding my head there seems little point.
So I point the Kisbee up the road and 5 minutes later I park the scooter in the shade near the museum. Having paid my โฌ12 a few minutes after 10 am Iโm almost the first in.
The museum was purpose built. Itโs huge with the galleries taking up 3 floors, with a shop and cafe on ground level. Click on any photo and a gallery will open for a closer view.
The museum obviously has a focus on the European marques, in particular the Italian which is only natural. There are some classic motorcycles but no Vespa my personal favourite. To watch every video and read every detail information panel would add another half day to your visit.
Back at the Hymer we pack up and make for the autostrada, itโs a long drive east to Verona.

I hope after your visit to that museum you explained to Pam the cultural significance of that magnificent collection. I just know how disappointed she must have been when you showed her your photos. What a great display of classic vehicles.
