After a quiet evening overlooking the ocean in Viana. There is a coastal walk along here, probably part of the Camino, given we see numerous walkers with back-packs trudging past. Ever keen for a walk Pam has us trudging along with them. The ever present mist consumes us quickly reducing visibility to 50m.

Coffee, fruit and a walk in the mist complete, we point the Hymer at Monte de Santa Luzia. Thank goodness for the GPS as the mist sweeps in again. As we reach the top the mist clears and we arrive to see the Templo do Sagrado Coraรงรฃo de Jesus. This neo-Byzantine chapel is stunning both inside and out.

After exploring the Templo we breakfast in the car-park, before heading down the hill and turning for Ponte de Lima.

The Rio Lima at Ponte de Lima, itโ€™s a beautiful place.

Across the Ponte we find The Igreja de Santo Antรณnio da Torre Velha, you can read about it if you zoom in.

The remaining photos are a random collection of scenes in the Old Town. If you click any of them they will open in a full size gallery.

So our day in Ponte de Lima done, we stop in a little bar with a view of the Rio Lima and have a drink (โ‚ฌ3.70) whilst we watch the waters of the Lima slowly flow toward the sea. We return to the Hymer, for dinner and chat about todays adventures.
