Travelled: 185 kilometres from L\u00f8dingen in Norway to Tornehamn in Sweden.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visited: L\u00f8dingen and driving the E10<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We make a late start from L\u00f8dingen.  Being on electricity for the first time in a couple of weeks, we have been busy charging everything up.  We have also given the Hymer a thorough vacumn through.  Once the jobs were all done we headed off on an hours walk up town, what there is of it.  There is just a small supermarket and a convenience store as well as the obligatory sporting shop and hardware store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway a walks a walk.  Stopping at the convenience store to have a quick look, finding fresh croissants coming out of the oven.  Breakfast is looking up this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TR14 finished back in Svolv\u00e6r, but we have continued on the E10 eastward through what’s left of the Lofoten Islands yesterday.  As far as we can tell we only have one more bridge to cross and we are back on the Norwegian mainland.  Time is passing and its time to turn for Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The marina in L\u00f8dingen was a nice clean stellplatz. The facilities were excellent, Pam had two twenty minute showers \ud83d\udebf whilst we stopped there.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Been hoping to catch a picture of one of these.  This is what passes for a Thai restaurant in Norway. We have seen several of these pop-up stands as we have travelled. Never around dinner time unfortunately.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The last bridge and we say goodbye to the Lofoten Islands and back to Norway proper.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We stop for lunch on the Herjangsfjord and take in the view. We fuelled up a few minutes earlier using the last of our NOK cash.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We had originally planned going to Narvik another 17 klm further on, fill with LPG and Diesel and spend the last of our NOK.  <\/span>But we only filled with LPG a few days ago and we have used all our Norwegian cash, so sorry Narvik.  Hence we continue on the E10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The E10 continues east, steadily climbing as we leave the fjordlands and drive onto the high plateau.  25 kilometres later we cross the border into Sweden.  We have nothing to declare shouts Pam as we drive through.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Another 25 kilometres on, we find this lovely little spot on a stream near Tornehamn, free of course. So this will do us for the night.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
