{"id":7854,"date":"2017-08-21T13:11:46","date_gmt":"2017-08-21T13:11:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=7854"},"modified":"2019-05-22T11:34:53","modified_gmt":"2019-05-22T01:34:53","slug":"tourist-route-13-helgelandskysten-part-3-norway-%f0%9f%87%b3%f0%9f%87%b4-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=7854","title":{"rendered":"Tourist Route 13 Helgelandskysten (part 3), Norway 2017 \ud83c\uddf3\ud83c\uddf4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><b>Travelled: 161 kilometres from Leines to Braset on TR13 through the Nordland.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Visited: Ferry from Levang to Nesna NOK136, Hell\u00e5ga Islands (viewing point, free), Gr\u00f8nsvik Fort (free), ferry from Kilboghamn to Jeldvika NOK261, ferry from Agskardet to For\u00f8ya NOK 112.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Stayed: Braset picnic area on the 17, free. &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/F5BLdDSHZdXK6BnZ6\">N66.72320, E13.67239<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Awoken by the sound of a noisy truck passing on the bridge overhead its already light with the dawn. &nbsp;Checking the clock it&#8217;s 4am&#8230; roll over and it&#8217;s 7.30am. &nbsp;With the constant cloud cover its hard to tell when the sun goes down or comes up, other than its late and early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the time we get up and I make a coffee the drizzle has started again, you cannot say the weather isn&#8217;t predictable. &nbsp;It changes several times every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>North on the Helgelandskysten again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR13_Tourist_map_again.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>The Helgelandskysten tourist map<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR13_Helgelandskysten_31.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>As you can see another grey morning on the Helgelandskysten. Over the past couple of days we note the ferry timetables have all changed to low season.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR13_Jektvika_3.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>On the ferry to Jektvika, the sun is shining as we approach the Arctic Circle.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR13_Jektvika_6.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>The Captain makes the call as we cross the imaginary line in the water. Pam and I rush out to grab a quick selfie, it&#8217;s freezing out on deck and we quickly retreat back to the warmth of the saloon.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR13_Jektvika_8.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>The passage to Jektvika is just over an hour, so its getting late as we come into the port.
