It should have been our first stop, but it was bucketing down with rain. Normally we just get drizzle or the odd shower but this was real rain. We waited in the layby across the way for 15 minutes before deciding it wasn&#8217;t to be.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR7_Gaularfjellet_2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>On these tourist drives we have found the free tourist maps are reliable as a guide. The water has taken on a distinct change in colour so I go over for a closer look or feel. That is cold water !<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR7_Gaularfjellet_10.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>We find a spot to stay in a little picnic area at Nesje.
