{"id":6295,"date":"2016-10-19T17:23:38","date_gmt":"2016-10-19T06:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=6295"},"modified":"2019-05-20T17:20:35","modified_gmt":"2019-05-20T07:20:35","slug":"au-revoir-france-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=6295","title":{"rendered":"Neufch\u00e2tel-en-Bray, France 2016 \ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Travelled : 130 kilometres from Givery to Neufch\u00e2tel-en-Bray, Normandy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visited : Just transiting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stayed : Aire de Camping Car Sainte Claire (Neufch\u00e2tel), \u20ac12, all services, washing machine extra. <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/fHvBCAjez8wReB5C6\">N49.73731 E1.42931<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a short post after a few days without the internet. &nbsp;Following our visit to the Monet&#8217;s garden and house we hit the road again. &nbsp;We could easily cross to a motorway and be in Calais in 3-4 hours but the D roads are more interesting and we continue north at a steady 90 kph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Gounay-en-Bray we stop and have lunch parked in the free aire (with services) near the centre-ville (N48.48038 &nbsp;E1.72668). &nbsp;I service the Hymer before we depart as there were no facilities in Givany and we continue on through the French \ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7 farms. &nbsp;The main crop appears to be wind turbines .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its mid afternoon when we arrive at Neufch\u00e2tel-en-Bray. &nbsp;We find the aire easily enough, its ridiculously expensive at \u20ac12 but it&#8217;s so nice we stop anyway. &nbsp;Full of GB \ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 &nbsp;registered motorhomes either heading home or to Spain \ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddf8 &nbsp;and Portugal \ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf9. &nbsp;So we chat away to our new neighbours before cooking dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Neufchatel_1.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Can only apologise for having to use a camper contact photo as I appear to have failed to take a photo. Anyway very nice isn&#8217;t it, little patches of grass for the chair and a nice level area for the camper.
