{"id":4522,"date":"2016-07-09T07:11:44","date_gmt":"2016-07-09T07:11:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=4522"},"modified":"2019-05-18T06:06:25","modified_gmt":"2019-05-17T20:06:25","slug":"more-motorhome-adventures-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=4522","title":{"rendered":"More Motorhome Adventures. 2016 \ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Travelled : From Sydney to London Heathrow and on to Rustington<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visited : Church of the English Martyrs, Worthing Pier and Brighton&#8217;s Royal Pavilion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stayed : With Terry and Lelia at Rustington.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been a sharp start to winter in Taren Point. &nbsp;After a mild&nbsp;autumn the weather suddenly turned very cold at home and our thoughts turn to our second home, our Hymer in the UK and heading off to Europe. &nbsp;Many of the other motorhome bloggers we follow have already been to Spain or The Spit as we languish in our icy prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our last week at home has been a long series of goodbyes to our children and grand children, old friends and neighbours. &nbsp;We give Jessie (our long suffering Staffie) a pat and apologise for leaving her with Tom and head for the airport. &nbsp;The fight with Singapore Airlines departs on time and we catch a nap on our way to Singapore. &nbsp;A nap means different things to different people, to me an hours our so to Pam 6 hours or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arriving in Singapore our connecting is delayed and we depart for LHR more than 2 hours late. &nbsp;It&#8217;s been a long day and we manage a couple more naps before breakfast and the Captain announces our approach. &nbsp;I am a little surprised Pam is still hungry given the number of Temazepam she has been munching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are spending a couple of days with Pam&#8217;s cousin Lelia and her husband Terry in Rustington before we pick up the Hymer. &nbsp;We normally meet Terry and Lelia for lunch on the day we pick up the Hymer and the day we drop it off. &nbsp;We love our Hymer and have always been appreciated Terry&#8217;s efforts in finding her for us. retire to Terry&#8217;s favourite pub and the rest of the evening just glides by. &nbsp;The sun doesn&#8217;t set till 9.30 pm and we are still a little out of sinc. &nbsp;In the morning we pack up and depart for Bosham. &nbsp;We arrive at Church Farm thanking Terry and Lelia for their Hospitality, it&#8217;s an emotional time seeing her again, she&#8217;s a little dusty but it&#8217;s great to see her again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We spend the next few hours giving her a good scrub, Pam busily packing away her extensive ensemble adding to the extensive ensemble left behind last year. \u00a0I remove the external TV antenna and fit the new 4G internet system. \u00a0We pay our bill, say goodbye to Bosham and head west on another adventure&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
