Travelled: 550 kms from Albury via Jugiong to Sydney  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visited: Albury and Jugiong  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stayed: Jugiong Memorial Park, $10 , N34.82440, E148.32729  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drive from Echuca to Albury was uneventful apart from the drizzle. We drive straight through Wodonga into NSW and straight to Albury Showgrounds which is now $35 a night. Certainly much more expensive than our last visit. The campsite at the showgrounds now looks more like a caravan park with new facilities which we won\u2019t use anyway so it\u2019s just too expensive as far as where concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway the suns out in NSW so we soon forget the cost. We unhook the Suzuki do a quick supermarket shop and drive around to the pool. Pam wants to check the temperature meets her standard. We\u2019ve visited Albury before so we don\u2019t linger and return to the mother ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next morning we are doing our laps by 8 am and back at the Jayco readying for the road by 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having checked petrol spy we make for the cheapest fuel station as we depart only to find the no diesel sign is up. The next servo is $2.77 a litre our most expensive fill ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning off the Hume at Jugiong we drive down the hill and make for the servo, thinking a fill from here will get us home. There\u2019s a small general store attached but the servo itself is a credit card only job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jugiong is a bit of a legendary place amongst the travelling community being half way from Sydney to Albury and being a free stop of course. The Memorial Park is huge and it\u2019s a park wherever you like job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come drinking time we wander over to the pub for dinner. What a surprise, we dined in the beer garden out the back. The food was great in fact the whole pub was great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a very quiet night we get away early and find ourselves back in Taren Point unhooking the Suzuki before lunch. Another tour complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
