A small pack of 6 gauge screws is \u00a37 that\u2019s A$1 per screw.  After a 10 minute wander around B&amp;Q I can see why renovating is so expensive here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We enjoy a quiet evening at Briarfields.  There\u2019s no campfire get together with cheese pizza here, the English are all sitting inside their campers watching Tipping Point. They are an odd bunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Another forced march around Cheltenham before breakfast, then we\u2019re off on the #50 bus, this time to Gloucester.  It\u2019s only a couple of miles further away than Cheltenham but lots more stops so an extra 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gloucester\" target=\"_blank\">Gloucester<\/a> is significantly different to Cheltenham.  A Roman settlement was established here on the River Severn in 48 AD. Its importance as a trading port continued with the completion of the Sharpness Canal. At 130 metres in length it\u2019s huge, but more importantly it has a significant history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure The port is a very trendy area lots of lovely shops and relatively expensive restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So we wander up to the main shopping strip in the old town.
