Budget: 93 days @ \u20ac91 per day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pam does her laps in the pool at Klatovy whilst I ready the Hymer for the road once again. We stop at the Tesco on our way out of town and start for the German border. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty kms or so from the border the country changes as we climb into the mountains. Its lovely dark forest broken initially by small farms, then ski resorts. It looks like Bavaria to us but I suppose it\u2019s the Czechia version of Bavaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nice to be back in Germany, the road is a smooth series of sweeping bends through forest and farmland. Soon enough we roll in Zwiesel and the stellplatz. There\u2019s not much shade but the pitch is level and only a few metres from the River Schwarzer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s very late lunch time so we take a break and regroup before heading off to explore the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maypoles are a big thing in Bavaria to celebrate Octoberfest, I must refer this to Johannes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Rathaus looks lovely<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n

We seem to cross the river several times as we wander through the village. The bakery doesn\u2019t take a credit card and either does the small bar in the centrum, so we continue on to the Stadtpfarrkirche of Saint Nikolaus at the top of the hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank goodness it\u2019s all downhill from here and back to the Hymer. Our neighbours are all German and say hi and we obviously respond with guter tag to you to. So that was our day in Zwiesel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
