Stayed: Pontevedra municipal aire, free with all services. N42.43344, W08.63539<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budget: 52 days @ \u20ac87 per day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our drive to Pontevedra is relatively short, especially as we ended up on a tollway for 10kms. We struggle to identify the Spanish tollways from the road signs or our road atlas. As long as the booth is staffed we are only charged as a car, \u20ac1.35. However on the automated booth we are classed as a light truck \u20ac5.65.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comments about Pontevedra on our data-base are good but its a popular town and it\u2019s recommended to arrive early to ensure a spot in the aire. So we drive straight to the aire and take up one of the two vacant spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We settle the Hymer into the aire, everything seems relatively new.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

After settling in with a second coffee we venture out in search of the tourist office and a map. This is the Jardines de Castro Sampedro, in the background the Iglesia de San Francisco. Mass was underway in the church so we just snuck a look and left.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
