The Netherlands<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visited : Oostvoorne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stayed : Jachthaven Geijsman, Oostvoorne. On the marina, with the usual services and excellent wifi \u20ac15. &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/988Ce1bRZPz\">N51.92375 E04.10643<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>We have heard the rain on the camper roof during the night, not heavy but steady. &nbsp;Still a good sleep, but it&#8217;s a very grey morning. &nbsp;There is misty rain in the air, so no walk this morning. &nbsp;It&#8217;s a quick breakfast, we service the Hymer and head north across the long causeways that join all these islands into a chain. &nbsp;We will pass the huge sea gates contracted along the causeways to control the floods and king tides that threaten this part of The Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Not keen on driving into Rotterdam in the rain, we decide to look for a nice spot for the day. &nbsp;The marina at Oostvoorne has a nice aspect in the drizzle and the rest of the day is a relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Voorne_1.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>This morning we pass three long sections of gates designed to control the flow of water.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Voorne_2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Our digs for the rest of the day and overnight.
