{"id":16657,"date":"2017-09-29T15:25:10","date_gmt":"2017-09-29T05:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=16657"},"modified":"2019-05-24T07:40:08","modified_gmt":"2019-05-23T21:40:08","slug":"the-romantische-strase-day-4-germany-2017-%f0%9f%87%a9%f0%9f%87%aa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=16657","title":{"rendered":"The Romantische Stra\u00dfe (day 4), Germany 2017 \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Travelled: &nbsp;98 kilometres from Landsberg am Lech to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visited: &nbsp;Landsberg am Lech and Schongau along the Romantische&nbsp;Stra\u00dfe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stayed: &nbsp;Garmisch-Partenkirchen stellplatz \u20ac16, all the usual services. <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/kyHnb3L64wognXSR7\">N47.50482, E11.10710<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than the church bells tolling every 15 minutes all night it was a quiet evening in Landsberg. &nbsp;Its a little chilly this morning and there is no movement in camper-car world until almost 9am when a street sweeper passes by as a wake up call. &nbsp;We do all the usual things before getting the Hymer back on the Romantische&nbsp;Stra\u00dfe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today is our 4th and last day on the Romantische&nbsp;Stra\u00dfe. &nbsp;So it will be good not having to continually have to cut and paste Romantische&nbsp;Stra\u00dfe 7 times every blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Landsberg_9.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>As we drive out of Landsberg am Lech we find this beautiful weir and cascade. &nbsp;We stop to walk over explore when a parking officer appears and tells us we must pay to park here. &nbsp;So we move on with just this photo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Schongau_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"825\" height=\"1100\"\/><figcaption>An hour and several villages later we arrive in Schongau. &nbsp;We do a quick Lidl shop and walk up the hill into the old town.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Schongau_2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>The flowers on the Rathaus look good.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Schongau_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"825\" height=\"1100\"\/><figcaption>Just off the town square we find Saint Maria\u2019s Church. The decorations are amazing.
