Travelled:  127 kilometres from Bad Mergentheim to N\u00f6rdlingen, Germany<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visited:  Weikersheim, <\/strong>Rothenburg ob der Tauber and N\u00f6rdlingen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stayed: N\u00f6rdlingen Stellplatz, \u20ac3.  All the usual services.  N48.85535, E10.485059<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our second day on Germany’s Romantische Stra\u00dfe…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning the road cuts through farmlands, whenever the hills face the south it’s grapevines.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The RR gets a little narrow in places, one being the village of Adelshofen.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We find a parking spot just outside the walls of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Despite the grey skies, Rothenburg ob der Tauber is<\/span> a lovely town. Lots of well maintained pastel colored building and interesting fountains.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lots of potted colour and interesting signs.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"\/
and colourful scooters.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The town has several interesting Tor (gates).<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It’s time to get going again, the stellplatz at Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a bit expensive so we continue on the RR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30 minutes later we arrive in N\u00f6rdlingen, the stellplatz looks full but we find a spot, next to this fello.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We take a walk up through the gates into the old town to take in the sights and find somewhere for dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pam is looking very stylish outside the Baldinger Tor in N\u00f6rdlingen.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We find this interesting fountain near the Saint George’s Church.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We soon find a traditional looking place for dinner, enjoy our snitzel with a cold local beer and troken reisling which seemed reasonable at \u20ac28.  Before wandering back to the Hymer in the dark…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
