So we park and walk over for a look. Little disappointed with the outboard motor, Vikings didn&#8217;t seem like the Suzuki Outboard type of guys to me.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR11_Trollstigen_6.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>At Gudbrandsjellet we find this interesting rest stop and viewing area. There are a series of long walkways that cross back and forth over the stream.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Gudbrandsjuvet, Falls\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pgYCA_DWJl0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR11_Trollstigen_8.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>The walkways all terminate at a platform overlooking the main falls.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR11_Trollstigen_10.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>We find this picnic area by a stream at&nbsp;<span style=\"text-align: start; background-color: #ffffff;\">Ovstest\u00f8len<\/span>t and decide to call it a day.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A couple of times today on the steeper descents I have had an unusual feel, back through the brake pedal. &nbsp;My experience tells me the Hymer is fast running out of meat on the front brake pads. &nbsp;It still pulls up quickly enough but its a matter of damaging the discs which is something we want to avoid. &nbsp;We have the Trollstigen pass to deal with yet, so we will give a no brakes descent a go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR11_Trollstigen_14.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"1200\"\/><figcaption>The information panel at Ovstest\u00f8len, you can read about it yourself.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR11_Trollstigen_16.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>It&#8217;s clear enough for a walk in the morning so we wander about the walker&#8217;s cabins and along the stream.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR11_Trollstigen_18.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Amongst other things we find this old bridge Circa 1891 according to the sign.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/TR11_Trollstigen_20.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>On the road again the road climbs steadily. We have left the trees behind.
