{"id":11630,"date":"2018-07-07T13:00:42","date_gmt":"2018-07-07T13:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=11630"},"modified":"2019-05-27T06:53:41","modified_gmt":"2019-05-26T20:53:41","slug":"long-drive-to-newmarket-england-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/?p=11630","title":{"rendered":"Long Drive to Newmarket, England 2018 \ud83c\udff4\udb40\udc67\udb40\udc62\udb40\udc73\udb40\udc63\udb40\udc74\udb40\udc7f\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Date: &nbsp;6th July 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Travelled: &nbsp;485 kilometres from Jedburgh, Scotland to Newmarket in England.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visited: &nbsp;Jedburgh Abbey, Scotland<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stayed: &nbsp;Newmarket, England. &nbsp;Church Lane long term parking, free on Sunday and overnight. &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/4SM9aGEoByRjNm9r5\">N52.24405, E0.40285<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a very quiet eveing in Jedburgh, there were a couple of other motorhomes here overnight, so we felt safe enough. &nbsp;The tourist office is just over the way, with toilets etc. &nbsp;But as we arrived in the early evening, everything was closed in any case. &nbsp;After a long day on the road we weren\u2019t in the mood for exploring anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst I am writting a blog, Pam is looking through the Lonely Planet to find, Jedburgh has some very interesting sites of its own. &nbsp;So after the usual coffee and fruit we walk up town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelandpamstravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Jedburgh_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\"\/><figcaption>It\u2019s only a short walk up to the square.
